Bill Pay

Today, bank accounts no longer automatically come with checks, and a growing amount of people no longer are using checks as paying has gone online. If you do not have checks, then no problem! Bill pay is available at many banks.

Bill pay is basically your bank making a check for you and sending it to your desired destination. Bill pay is usually free, which is not true with other online options like Paypal. Payment processing fees are added to online methods like Paypal.

The Port Charlotte elders would like our supporters (both one-time and monthly) to send contact information and planned amount of support in order to track our funds, but also to build a relationship with those who support us.

*The instructions and pictures given apply to Wells Fargo Bank and Ally Bank accounts. The procedure for your bank might differ.

Add Port Charlotte as a Payee

  1. Log onto your banking website/app

  2. Locate the area/button that might say “Payments/Transfer/Pay”

  3. Locate where it says “Pay Bills” or “Bill Pay”

  4. Manually add “Port Charlotte church of Christ” as a payee

  5. Use “20484 Midway Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33952” for the address lines

  6. Make sure your name will be on the bill and you have selected the correct bank account for the bill*

  7. Save. Now you have Port Charlotte as a payee for your bill pay.

*Account number might be required, but you can use your name

How to use Bill Pay



Sending reoccurring support

  1. Go to your “Bill Pay” in your bank’s website/app

  2. Select “Reoccurring Payments”

  3. Enter the amount you commit to giving

  4. (IMPORTANT) Put “Orellana Czech Missions” in the memo

  5. Select the delivery date

  6. Select frequency

  7. If you committed for a time-limited duration, enter the duration

  8. For your records, select to receive emails for the payments

  9. Finish the form to start reoccurring payments


Sending one-time payments

  1. Go to your “Bill Pay” in your bank’s website/app

  2. Enter the amount you choose to contribute

  3. Select the date of delivery

  4. (Important) Put “Orellana Czech Missions” in the memo

  5. Finish to send your funds
